GHALIYAH KINTSUGI

GHALIYAH KINTSUGI

GHALIYAH KINTSUGI An Artisanal Attar by Perito Moreno Ghaliyah has always fascinated me. Historically, it belongs to a wonderfully extravagant chapter of perfumery, where precious woods, musks, spices, resins, and animalic materials were brought together to create something profoundly rich and sensual. But I wanted to approach this tradition differently. My intention was to create a remarkable, genuinely wearable Ghaliyah, one that retained the boldness and mysterious character of its ancestry without becoming overwhelming. Something that whispers beautifully on the skin, yet possesses the complexity to keep a seasoned perfume collector intrigued for hours. The inspiration came from an unlikely marriage of two philosophies. The opulence of classical Arabian Ghaliyah and the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with precious metal rather than having its imperfections concealed. I imagined how a Japanese perfumer might interpret such a traditionally bold composition. Not by stripping away its character, but by introducing restraint, precision, transparency, and an extraordinary sensitivity to the spaces between its ingredients. Every material needed room to express itself. The spices could be assertive without becoming aggressive. The musk could be sensual without becoming oppressive. And the woods could remain magnificently deep while allowing the composition to breathe. At the heart of this creation sits our house signature, Assam Garjana, an agarwood material that has become an important part of my identity as a perfumer. Its woody, resinous, and beautifully complex personality provides the foundation upon which I constructed the spicy and musky architecture of Kintsugi. What interests me most is the interaction between these elements. The spices introduce warmth and movement, the musky facets soften the sharper edges, and Assam Garjana lends an unmistakable depth that gradually unfolds against the warmth of human skin. Rather than allowing one ingredient to dominate, I wanted the materials to behave like an intimate conversation. Blending Kintsugi required me to think differently about strength. A powerful perfume does not necessarily need to shout. Sometimes the greatest technical challenge is taking materials known for their intensity and making them feel effortless. I approached the formula almost as a Japanese craftsman might approach an object, examining the relationship between every component, refining the transitions, and preserving those little irregularities that make natural raw materials so beautiful. The result is deliberately bold in composition, yet surprisingly graceful in wear. It carries the unmistakable soul of a Ghaliyah, but its expression is contemporary, intimate, and remarkably approachable. Ghaliyah Kintsugi is my interpretation of strength expressed through restraint. An attar in which spice, musk, and Assam Garjana meet without competing for attention. It is neither a conventional Arabian Ghaliyah nor an attempt to make oud polite. It is an exploration of how two seemingly distant artistic traditions can produce something genuinely beautiful when they are allowed to understand one another. Some compositions are made by adding more. Kintsugi taught me that beauty sometimes begins with knowing what to leave untouched. Artisan DixitPerito Moreno artisanal perfumes

Regal Silhouette Eau De Parfum

Regal Silhouette Eau De Parfum

India's history is a rich tapestry. In it, the Nai held a revered position, far beyond just groomers. These skilled barbers were trusted by kings & noblemen. They wielded their razors and oils with mastery that mirrored their deep understanding of tradition and heritage. The Nai were custodians of secret formulations, passed down through generations. Each blend meticulously crafted to enhance the presence & aura of the royal patrons they served.   In the hushed corridors of palaces and serene sanctuaries of royal chambers, the Nai performed their artistry. They blended rare herbs, spices, and exotic oils into elixirs that embodied regality itself. These weren't mere fragrances; they were powerful symbols of power, grace, and unbroken lineage of royal tradition. From the invigorating top notes to the sacred depths of the base, each element was selected to create a symphony of scent that left a long-lasting impression.   Inspired by this age-old tradition, Perfumer Mr. Nitish Dixit embarked on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Nai culture. He immersed himself in their history & rituals, engaged with traditional Nai families and unearthed closely guarded secrets. Through countless conversations and hands-on experiences, he rediscovered ancient formulations. They were long forgotten but preserved in the memories of these master artisans.   Drawing from this treasure trove of knowledge, Mr. Dixit crafted ‘Regal Silhouette,’ a fragrance embodying the wisdom & expertise of the Nai. The top notes burst with fresh zest of Nagaland Wild Lemons and Indian Lemon, intertwined with Sweet Lime, Jasmine Sambac, and delicate floral notes of Neroli & Lavender. These get complimented by sweet citrusy layers of Orange, Indian Basil, and Marigold. Chamomile adds a serene touch while a spark of Pink Pepper enlivens it.   As the fragrance unfolds, its heart reveals bold & spicy warmth—Pimento Berry, Cloves & Black Pepper ground its earthy richness. The exotic aroma of Star Anise mingles with spice—Sri Lankan Bay Leaf, Cinnamon & Cardamom—while Rosemary adds a refreshing counterpoint.   Finally, base notes unveil deep blends: Sandalwood, Labdanum & Oud Wood invoke sacredness and timelessness. Rich resinous scents like Olibanum & Myrrh combine with smooth comforting notes of Tonka Bean and lingering Musk presence.   ‘Regal Silhouette’ is not just a scent; it's a tribute to Nai's legacy—brought to life through dedication & passion by Perfumer Mr. Nitish Dixit who has woven ancient wisdom into modern fragrance luxury.   Top Notes: Neroli, Lavender, Indian Lemon, Sweet Lime, Jasmine Sambac, Nagaland Wild Lemons, Sweet Orange, Indian Basil, Marigold, Camomile, Pink Pepper Middle Notes: Pimento Berry, Cloves, Black Pepper, Star Anise, Patchouli, Bay Leaf (Sri Lankan), Cinnamon, Cardamom, Rosemary Base Notes: Sandalwood, Labdanum, Oud Wood, Olibanum, Patchouli, Myrrh, Tonka Bean, Musk

SHRUNGAR EXTRAIT

SHRUNGAR EXTRAIT

Shrungar: The Night of Secrets The air hangs heavy with the scent of promise. Somewhere between the lingering laughter of the day and the quiet surrender of the night, the room transforms—a sanctum of whispers, silks, and skin. The bride, draped in centuries of tradition, sits adorned in rituals that speak of union and unspoken hunger. Around her, flowers bloom not for beauty, but for seduction, their fragrance woven with the weight of anticipation. This is not a night of subtlety. It is the moment when restraint falters and two lives collide in an explosion of intimacy. The flicker of a brass lamp casts golden shadows across her face, tracing the shimmering trails of saffron and rose that veil her skin. Her hands, trembling yet steady, offer him a cup of boiling masala milk—a centuries-old act of nourishment and temptation. The steam rises like a lover’s sigh, curling into the air, heavy and alive. The groom watches. He doesn’t move. He waits, as tradition dictates, but his stillness is a storm restrained. The room hums with tension, the kind only found in the collision of new beginnings and ancient customs. The silence is palpable, interrupted only by the faint clink of her bangles—an orchestra of invitation. Each breath becomes a dance, pulling them closer, binding them in a rhythm older than language. The fragrance of the room intensifies: the petals crushed beneath restless feet, the earthiness of sandalwood lingering in the corners, and the faint sweetness of honey kissed by fire. The air tastes of desire. Shrungar captures this—the first gaze, the hesitant touch, the breaking of walls and the building of worlds. It is a fragrance of submission and dominance, of tradition undone by passion. It is the bride’s nervous laugh, the groom’s deliberate inhale, the scent of her skin as he leans closer—part jasmine, part fire, all her. But this is not a tale of innocence. It is raw, bold, unapologetic. The night unfolds not as a celebration, but as a revelation—a journey where fear melts into longing, and longing into surrender. Every stolen glance, every whispered prayer, every undone knot of silk becomes part of the tapestry this fragrance weaves. Each bottle of Shrungar tells this story, not as a passive observer but as a conspirator. It carries the weight of centuries, the allure of now, and the echo of what comes after. It is a scent meant to be worn like a secret—a reminder of nights when the world shrinks to a single room, a single moment, a single breath. For only 100 souls, Shrungar will unlock a door to this night. A numbered testament to passion, signed by the hands that created it, this is not a fragrance. It is an experience, a possession, a story to be whispered in the dark. Let Shrungar find you, and let the night become yours.

Coastal Kokan

Bespoke Collection

Coastal Kokan

Coastal KokanBy Dixit Artisan Where rustling palms hum lullabies to the monsoon, and temple bells echo across salt-laced wind… there lies a coast that breathes fragrance. Not perfumery as performance—but perfumery as prayer. Coastal Kokan is that breath—drawn slowly from the sacred soil of the Western Ghats and released into the world with modern grace. This is not a fragrance that announces itself. It arrives like the sea at dawn—soft, reverent, ageless. ⸻ The Opening: A Kiss of Light and Salt It begins the way a Konkan morning begins—quiet, golden, full of promise. A burst of Bergamot and Lemon, sharp as the sun’s first touch on dewy foliage, clears the senses like a temple ablution. Then comes the drift—Sea Salt and Marine notes—not the cliché ozone of department store aquatics, but the true scent of drying nets, briny wind, and waves pulling secrets from the deep. It smells like standing barefoot at the edge of the Arabian Sea, your grandmother’s voice echoing in the background, telling stories of gods who lived in mango trees and fishermen who wrestled with fate. ⸻ The Heart: Sacred Blooms & Village Breezes The heart blooms not with imported roses, but with India’s own soul flowers. Bhui Chafa—the ghost flower, the night-blooming sentinel of monsoon love. Ylang Ylang, exotic and golden, sways like saris on drying lines. Jasmine, of course—sweet, indolic, flirtatious—woven into braids, temple garlands, and every summer memory. A subtle touch of Clove lingers beneath, like a sacred fire burning in the distance. It’s the scent of offerings—flowers dipped in sandalwood paste, resting on copper plates beside flickering diyas. This is not a heart that beats—it chants. ⸻ The Drydown: Earth, Bark, and Ritual Warmth As the story deepens, we walk further inland. The sea behind us, the forest before us. Ginger Grass crackles like sun-dried stalks underfoot. Bakula Bark—woody, smoky, ancient—evokes trees older than memory. And then, the grounding mystique of Yak Furr—a note both primal and serene, like fur warmed by the sun in a Himalayan temple pasture. And as twilight falls, it all melts into a base of Musk and Sandalwood—rich, creamy, devotional. The kind of base that doesn’t wear off—it stains your spirit. The kind of base you wear to weddings and funerals and festivals. It’s attire, not just perfumery. ⸻ A Fragrance of Home and Horizon Coastal Kokan is not bottled trend. It is bridged heritage—the soul of India’s Western coast wrapped in the tailoring of modern perfumery. You can wear it with a linen kurta or a navy blue suit. It will not clash. It will bless. This is not just a scent. It is salt on your lips after laughter. It is sacred smoke tangled in jasmine braids. It is soil, sea, sandalwood—and a thousand unwritten poems. And when it leaves your skin, it stays behind—in memory, in mood, in you.
