The challenge involved in the creation of a wistful perfume needs an insight into the knowledge of how fragrances inform emotions and awareness. The master-artisan in Nitish Dixit has executed a blend, a composition of aromas’, with ‘Meditation Mist’, summoning up a voyage into calmness and contemplation.
The surface notes serve as a precursor to meditation, with the Italian Bergamot wafting in ahead of all, to arouse the senses, indicating the crack of dawn. Its calibre is unmatched, as it hands out a crisp and rejuvenating fragrance, embodying awareness. There is Olibanum then, which has an ancient past of spiritual engagement. Being sourced from the hallowed Boswellia plant, it secretes resin that is used to uplift the spirits. Another element to sum up the top notes, is the rich and deeply odoured ‘Omani Frankincense,’ cherished for its excellent worth. Keeping the reflecting person grounded to the soil, is the sensitively obtained ‘Musk’, possessing the earthy texture. The warm, resinous fragrance of ‘Amber’ captures the mellowness of spiritual enlightenment. To oer a soothing culmination to the meditative experience, is vanilla tincture, not an ordinary one, but derived from the finest vanilla pods. Finally, providing a robust base echoing the steadiness one tries to achieve through meditation, are the woods, Sandal and Oak, both used regularly in sacred ceremonies.
